Bill Meeker, 83 years old, is retired from a thirty-four-year teaching career. He is a 1951 graduate of Central State College, now The University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. He received a B.A. degree in fine arts.
Bill has spent a lifetime pursuing his avocation of art and art-related activities.
After retiring, Bill and his wife, Marge, opened tneir first bed and breakfast, Visages, which doubled as an art gallery. In 1996 they scaled down to a much smaller home. After remodeling the house extensively, they opened their second B & B, Bit of Eden, which is also Bill's gallery.
Again active in artwork, Bill happily offers prints for sale.
