This page includes information on options participating artists can choose to sell their art through this site.
This information also includes details of what each license entitles the buyer to uses and what the selling artist is offering the buyer.
Acceptable Files:
This is a website for Art. Art files defined by this site can be from all painted media, including collage, 3D images and digital art.
Photography and retouched photography images will not be accepted for this website.
1) Small Files 300 largest side size-Non Exclusive Artist owns all rights and can sell to unlimited buyers
2) Med low-res Files 500 largest side size-Non Exclusive Artist owns all rights and can sell to unlimited buyers
3A) Larger low-res Files 900 largest side size-Non Exclusive Artist owns all rights and can sell to unlimited buyers
3B) Small High Res File - 1200 largest side size-Non Exclusive Artist owns all rights and can sell to unlimited buyers
4A) License for Publication-1 Time Printing for Publication Limited License -2000 largest side size-Non Exclusive Artist owns all rights and
can sell to unlimited buyers
4B) License to publish-2 Years License-Non Exclusive Artist owns all rights and can sell to unlimited buyers
5) License This Art for Printing Giclees -2 Year License to use for Giclee - Non Exclusive Artist owns all rights and can sell to unlimited buyers
1). Small low-res Files 300
This file is good for websites and online use. Can be used for online ads. This is an unlimited use file for buyers.
The artist will maintain ownership of the original art. The Artist owns the rights and can sell the file and reproduction rights to unlimited buyers.
2) Med low-res Files 500
Online file that should be used for slide shows with better or larger sizes views this will be a better resolution and look better.
The artist will maintain ownership of the original art and the license to sell it for publishing and printing. The Artist owns the rights and can sell the file and reproduction rights to unlimited buyers.
3A)Med low-res Files 900
Larger files can be used to print small size prints on home printers. This is good for one time use for homemade cards
The artist will maintain ownership of the original art and the license to sell it for publishing and printing. The Artist owns the rights and can sell the file and reproduction rights to unlimited buyers.
3B) Small High Res File for small printing use which has better quality than low res 900
These Larger files can be used to print small size prints on home printers for better quality. This is good for one time use for home based printers.
The artist will maintain ownership of the original art and the license to sell it for publishing and printing. The Artist owns the rights and can sell the file and reproduction rights to unlimited buyers.
4A) License to publish- License for Publication-1 Time Printing for Publication Limited License -2000 largest side size-Non Exclusive Artist owns all rights and can sell to unlimited buyers
This is a Large File. 300 resolution This is a high resolution file for printing. This allows the publisher /buyer use of the Art publishing your images in magazines, newspapers, brochures and other printed material. This license is not for reproducing the Art for selling the art as paper prints, giclee prints, printed cards or printed canvas. It allows the publisher use of the Art for 1 year in as many publications as they choose, subject to the use restrictions below. The artist will maintain ownership of the original art and the license to sell it for publishing and printing. The Artist owns the rights and can sell the file and reproduction rights to unlimited buyers. www.LeaseMyArt.org will send the buyer a license with an expiration date. The License will expire at end of the licensing period. The buyer will then need to purchase a new license for the art to publish the file again. The Publisher of this art may publish in one publication for each license. The publication subscription and printing numbers is subject to the publication and it size.
4B) License to publish - For 2 Years
This is a Large File. 300 resolution This is a high resolution file for printing. This allows the publisher/buyer use of your image for publishing
your images in magazines, newspapers, brochures and other printed material. This license is not for reproducing the Art for selling the art as prints, giclee, cards or canvas. It allows the publisher unlimited use of the art in as many publications as they choose subject to the use restrictions below. The artist will maintain ownership of the original art and the license to sell it for publishing and printing. The Artist owns the rights and can sell the file and reproduction rights to unlimited buyers. The buyer/ publisher is licensed to use this art for 2 years. After expiration date purchase of new licence to use the file is required. www.LeaseMyArt.org will send the buyer a license with an expiration date. The License will expire at end of the licensing period. The buyer will then need to purchase a new license for the art to publish the file again. The Publisher of this art may publish in one publication for each license. The publication subscription and printing numbers is subject to the publication and it size.
5) License to use for Giclee and Printed Reproductions- License for 2 Years- 2500 largest side size
This is a Large File. 300 resolution. This is a high resolution file for printing. This license allows the buyer to print the Art for use in all reproductive media including giclees digital reproductions art prints canvas prints, cards, postcards and canvas reproductions. This is not an exclusive offer to but a right purchased by the buyer. The Artist owns the rights and can sell the file and reproduction rights to unlimited buyers. The buyer/ publisher is licensed to use this art for 2 years. The buyer may print up to 100,000 copies of this art for sale.
After expiration date purchase of new licence to use the file is required. www.LeaseMyArt.org will send the buyer a license with an expiration date. The License will expire at end of the licensing period. The buyer will then need to purchase a new license for the art to print the file again.
For buyer protection. It any of the files is not to the standard of 300 resolution and not usable for printing the buyer has 48 hours to cancel file for use and receive a refund. Subject to inspection of the file the owners of this website will make a conclusion.
TERMS OF USE AND MISUSE
Buyers are not authorized to use any of the Art for pornographic use, in or for any advertisements relating to pornography.
Buyers cannot misrepresent the art as belonging to any one but the artist of record as listed on http://www.leasemyart.org
Artists must own the Art they are uploading.
Artists are responsible for any action if they are not the artist and misrepresent art as belonging to them. Artist using others art,will be 100% liable and all liability will be on the artist, they auto represent they are the artist by putting it up that they own all rights to Art granted through this site.
Artists can disable their account at any time.
Artist files will be deleted from lease my art.org and any payments due will be paid to the artist. Money due will be determined and subject to review. All art uploaded by the artists belongs to the artist and not to http://www.leasemyart.org . Leasemyart.org is merely the host and the store in which artists may to sell and market art. In no event does www.LeaseMyArt.org make any representation or warranty as to the ownership or rights of the artist in the Art.
Artists should utilize the tools in their profile to increase traffic to their pages including blogging and adding friends. To learn more please see the artists section Promoting your Art
Artists should create a good detailed description of their art and add keywords for buyers to find their art. When uploading art you will be given options for descriptions, titles, keywords and how you want to sell the art you are uploading.
By joining the site artists and buyers agree to abide by these terms of use. How do you join? Just click on the \\\\\\\"Artists\\\\\\\" line on the homepage or the Buyers link on the homepage to join the site as a seller or a buyer.
Buyers
Buyer of Art Must Abide by the terms use for each file type they purchase. All information on legal use can be seen above and when purchasing files.
Buyers who purchase licensing art files will receive a license with a time period in which they can use the art file.
They will receive an option to renew the license when the license expires. They will need to purchase a new license after the expiration date. An option will be sent to the buyer.
If they want to use the art file again, for an additional period of time, they will need to renew the license. They will
be charged to renew the license to use the files again. They will be in violation of the terms of use if they use the art
after the date of expiration.
The license will be issued to the buyer and cannot be transferred to any other buyer for use.

Lease My Art.org reserves the right to change pricing for credits to include price reductions, price raises and coupon offering.
The artists will receive the percentage of the sale according to their membership level. Membership levels may be changed by leasemyart.org if artist misuses or does not follow the terms of this site. All artists must have bio information on their portfolios to remain live.
Artists my choose to unpublish any of their own files and they will not appear live.
Peel and Stick Arts fits to largest proportions
By uploading your file you understand and agree to the payment for peel and stick art is as follows:
Artist sets their own commission price on every order. We Print the order through our mural company www.artqueen.com
Artist upload for Peel and Stick is the same as commission split on Gold, Silver, Bronze Levels.
Artists receive the commission on the Price file sizes they choose for the peel and stick file- and the company receives the print price.
